2,000 years ago Rome conquered Egypt Anthony fell in love with Cleopatra and they feasted on cheese made from the rich and creamy milk of the water buffalo. Anthony’s passion for the cheese prompted him to send water buffalo back to Rome together with the recipe to transform the milk into succulent mozzarella.
It was passion for pure healthy food raised from animals that thrive on local forage that prompted Darrel and Anthea to pursue farming water buffalo.
