Directions from Victoria and Nanaimo
Head north on Route 1 towards Duncan, approximately 55km/35 mi. Enjoy the view overlooking the Saanich peninsula (known as the Malahat Drive). You descend into the Cowichan Valley. Continue towards Duncan and watch for Valleyview Shopping Centre on your right. The next set of traffic lights is Koksilah Road (Crossroads Centre- Equine Emporium, Cowichan Liquor- is on your right.)
Turn left at the lights onto Koksilah Road. (Note: A bus must take a diversion to avoid the low railway bridge on Koksilah Road. Watch for the school is on your right. The 2nd road on the left is ‘Cowichan Station Road’. Follow Cowichan Station Road as it winds across the railway tracks and back to join Koksilah Road on the other side of the railway bridge).
Jackson Road is the third road on the left after the bridge. Proceed to the end of the road – after the paved portion we are nearly two km/one mile on the gravel road. You cannot go wrong if you keep going.
From Nanaimo (including Departure Bay and Duke Point ferry terminals):
Head south on Route 1 towards Duncan, approx 55 km/35mi. As you pass through Duncan look for the two bridges side by side, just beyond the White Spot restaurant and continue to the second traffic lights where you will turn right onto Allenby Road. Turn left at the second road on the left, Koksilah Road. Continue on Koksilah for approx 3.5 km/2 mi.
You will pass a large dairy farm called Meadow Green Farm on the right and within half a km you come to Jackson Road on the right. Continue to the end of the road, nearly two km/one mile on the gravel.
